Getting Prepared for Surgery

5 Days Before Surgery:

Stop taking aspirin or blood thinning medications 5 days prior to your surgery unless told otherwise by your surgeon.

Make arrangements to have a responsible adult drive you home after your surgery or procedure and stay with you that night. You may not drive home after receiving sedation of any kind.

Las Ventanas Surgery Center can offer significant cost savings over hospitlization for your surgery and is recognized most insurance plans including Blue Cross, Blue Shield, First Health Network, Worker's Compensation and other PPO's.

Patients without insurance will be required to pay for their care on the day of surgery. If you have a co-payment or deductible, it will be due on the day of your surgery as you check in.
